GrapheneOS 2025061500 and Magisk Canary 29001: Zygisk Not Enabling - Troubleshooting Help
in Post with 0 comment

I am experiencing difficulties enabling Zygisk on my Pixel 8a running GrapheneOS 2025061500 with Magisk Canary 29001 (b1dc47a0). Despite numerous reinstalls and attempts following various troubleshooting hints, Zygisk remains disabled.

Here's a breakdown of my situation:

* Device: Pixel 8a (non-carrier, unlocked, brand new)
* Android version: 15 (GrapheneOS 2025061500)
* Magisk version: Canary 29001 (b1dc47a0), Debug Build
* Magisk modules: None installed

**Troubleshooting Steps Taken:**
* Reinstalled system over 20 times using `flash_all` followed by Magisk installation.
* Tried enabling/disabling Zygisk multiple times.
* Used different LPosed versions.
* Disabled vbmeta in different configurations.
* A fresh flash after recovering the device.

**Log Analysis:**
The attached logs highlight some potential issues:

* **Failed Verification:** `[ro.boot.verifiedbooterror]: [ERROR_VERIFICATION]` and `[ro.boot.verifyerrorpart]: [init_boot]`
* **Certificate Parsing Errors:** The 'FileIntegrityService' log displays errors related to invalid certificates, suggesting potential issues with certificate parsing.

**Additional Observations:**
* During installation, I encountered a warning message:
* `Warning: skip copying bootloader_b image avb footer (bootloader_b partition size: 0, bootloader_b image size: 18732664).`
* The bootloader was flashed successfully.

**Attachments:**
1. `magisk_log`: logcat of everything since boot
2. `init_boot.img` file before patching

Could you please help me understand these logs, troubleshoot why Zygisk isn't enabling, and suggest possible solutions?
