After upgrading my OnePlus 9 Pro from LineageOS 22.1 to 22.2, I encountered issues patching the boot image with Magisk (version 29.0). Despite multiple attempts, Magisk patching seemed unsuccessful. Downgrading Magisk to version 28.1 and repatching the boot file with the older version successfully resolved the problem. While I haven't pinpointed the exact cause, this experience highlights the importance of compatibility between system software and Magisk versions.
