On Magisk 28.1, AdAway stopped functioning, reporting that the Systemless host module was inaccessible. Downgrading to Magisk 27 resolved the issue. A subsequent update to 28.1 confirmed the problem persists. Repeated uninstallation and reinstallation of AdAway, along with numerous reboots, failed to resolve the problem. Other Systemless hosts, both the built-in one and an external download, also exhibit this behavior on v28.1, working correctly on v27.0. The issue affects both Magisk Release and Canary builds.
