Brick My Dilink1.0: Troubleshooting Magisk Boot on CAR PAD
in Post with 0 comment

Device:CAR PAD Dilink1.0 Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 4+32
Android version:7.1.2 UI1.0
Kernel Version: Linux 3.18.31-perf(build@hw168)(gcc version 4.9 20150123 (prerelease)(GCC))
Magisk version name:28.1
Magisk version code:28100

After patching magisk_boot.img and flashing it to the CAR PAD Dilink1.0 device using fastboot flash:raw boot magisk_boot.img, the device gets stuck in fastboot mode even after a reboot. Flashing the original boot.img back restores normal operation.

Possible causes:**
* Issue with the patched magisk_boot.img
* Incompatible Magisk version with the Dilink1.0 device

Troubleshooting steps:**
* Recheck the patched magisk_boot.img for errors
* Try a different Magisk version that is compatible with the device
* Reflash stock firmware to ensure compatibility

**Note:** Please ensure to have a backup of your data before attempting any flashing operations.
