Pixel 6a Stuck in Boot Loop After Magisk Patching Android 15
in Post with 0 comment

I'm facing a boot loop issue with my Pixel 6a after attempting to upgrade to Android 15 using a Magisk patched boot image. I successfully flashed the stock boot image, allowing me to boot into a stock, unrooted system. However, whenever I flash the patched boot image, the device enters a continuous boot loop.

I've tried this process both manually using a batch script and with PixelFlasher, both resulting in the same boot loop. I've also tried flashing back to a previous Android 14 version (14.0.0 (AP2A.240905.003.F1, Sep 2024)), but encountered data corruption errors.

Here are the details:

* **Device:** Pixel 6a
* **Original Android Version:** 14.0.0 (AP2A.240805.005.F1, Aug 2024)
* **Target Android Version:** 15.0.0 (AP4A.250105.002.A1, Jan 2025, EMEA)
* **Magisk Version:** 28.1

I've attached the adb logcat output [https://github.com/user-attachments/files/18386815/logcat.txt](https://github.com/user-attachments/files/18386815/logcat.txt) for when the boot loop occurs and the boot up crash. Please let me know if there's any other information I can provide, or if you need the stock boot image file.
