Troubleshooting Magisk Boot Loop on Pixel 6a Upgrading to Android 15
in Post with 0 comment

I'm encountering a boot loop on my Pixel 6a after attempting to upgrade to Android 15 (AP4A.250105.002.A1) while using Magisk. Here's a breakdown of the situation:

**Device Details:**
* Pixel 6a (bluejay)
* Android version: AP4A.250105.002.A1, Jan 2025, EMEA
* Magisk version: v28.1

**Issue:**
After flashing a full image with a patched boot image from Magisk, my phone gets stuck in a boot loop. The stock boot image works flawlessly, allowing me to boot into unrooted Android 15 without any issues. I've tried both manual flashing with a batch script and using PixelFlasher, both resulting in the same boot loop.

**Troubleshooting Steps:**
* I attempted to downgrade to a previous Android 14 version (AP2A.240905.003.F1), but this resulted in data corruption errors.

**Details:**
My starting point was Android 14.0.0 (AP2A.240805.005.F1, Aug 2024). I'm attaching the logcat output from when the boot loop occurs and the phone crashes (attached below).

**Request for Assistance:**
I'm stuck on Android 15 unrooted and desperately need help resolving this boot loop issue. Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated.
