Magisk 28.0 and 28.1 Boot Issues on LineageOS 22.1 Pixel 7 Pro

After successfully patching and flashing init_boot.img with Magisk 27.0 on my Pixel 7 Pro running LineageOS 22.1, I've encountered boot issues with Magisk 28.0 and 28.1. Upon flashing the patched init_boot.img using these versions, the device fails to boot, returning to fastboot mode. This necessitates flashing the unaltered init_boot.img to regain a functional boot.

* Android Version: LineageOS 22.1
* Magisk Version Name: 28.0/28.1
* Magisk Version Code: 28000/28100

Has anyone else experienced similar boot problems with Magisk 28.0 and 28.1 on LineageOS 22.1? Are there any known workarounds or solutions? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
