Magisk 28.0 and 28.1 Boot Issues on Pixel 7 Pro with LineageOS 22.1

I'm encountering boot issues after updating to Magisk versions 28.0 and 28.1 on my Pixel 7 Pro running LineageOS 22.1. My Pixel 7 Pro boot loop issue.

While Magisk 27.0 allows successful patching and flashing of init_boot.img, resulting in root access upon booting, versions 28.0 and 28.1 cause the device to fail to boot and return to fastboot mode. This necessitates flashing the unaltered init_boot.img to restore functionality.
