The Pixel 8 Pro offers a fantastic battery management feature: battery bypass mode. This mode kicks in at 80% charge, effectively pausing further charging to extend battery life. While the battery icon displays a helpful shield indicating bypass mode, it's currently only available with the standard battery icon. Many users, however, prefer the circular icon.

It would be great to see an option to incorporate this shield overlay with the Pixel 8 Pro's circular battery icon. This way, users can readily identify bypass mode even when using their preferred icon style. Another desirable improvement is to have the charger animation revert to displaying the percentage once it reaches 80% - this would provide a clearer visual indication of the charging status.

These enhancements would significantly improve the user experience and customization options for the battery bypass mode on the Pixel 8 Pro.
