Improving Gesture Sensitivity in Android: User Frustration and Potential Solutions
in Post with 0 comment

Like many Android users, I've been frustrated by the inconsistency of gesture responsiveness on my device. Coming from a Samsung phone with its refined one-handed operation and adjustable gesture sensitivity, I find the current experience lacking. While Android gestures work reliably 95% of the time, that remaining 5% feels disruptive, especially when browsing images.

My primary frustration stems from the lack of granular control over gesture sensitivity. On Samsung, I could visually see the 'handle' for swipe gestures, and the sensitivity was adjustable. A shorter swipe distance ensured the action was triggered, providing a reliable and responsive experience.

Is this feature limited only to Samsung's implementation, or are there any other apps, mods, or ROMs that offer adjustable gesture sensitivity? Perhaps implementing a 'quick action' functionality similar to Samsung's, where actions begin before releasing your finger, could also address this issue.
