A great addition would be an option to disable this feature while the device is charging. It seems counterproductive to have the screen turn off when plugged in, especially overnight.

Another valuable improvement would be integrating face detection. Imagine watching a movie on a table – the screen wouldn't turn off as long as your face is facing it. This would be a huge boon for media consumption.

Finally, a slight delay after unlocking a stationary device could prevent the screen from unexpectedly turning off mid-use.
