I'm facing an issue patching the kernel on my Samsung Galaxy A13 (SM-A137F) using Magisk 28.0. When I try to flash the patched kernel file (magisk_patched-28000_JNR1u.tar) through Odin 3.14.4, Odin gets stuck at "Odin engine file analysis" and hangs indefinitely. I've tried:
* Re-downloading the firmware and repeating the process from scratch to ensure firmware integrity.
* Rolling back to a previous kernel version (using Magisk 27.0), patching, and flashing successfully.
Magisk 27.0 patches the kernel without any issues,
confirming the problem lies with Magisk 28.0.
Here are some details:
* Device: Samsung SM-A137F (Samsung Galaxy A13)
* Android version: 14
* Magisk version name: Magisk 28.0
* Magisk version code: 28000
I'm attaching the following:
* Original firmware kernel
* Magisk patched kernel archive
* magisk_install_log_2024-10-22T18.54.47.log
I suspect a potential issue during the kernel building process when patching with Magisk 28.0. Any insights or suggestions on troubleshooting this issue would be greatly appreciated.
