Magisk Root Not Working on Rockchip Android 14 arm64
in Post with 0 comment

I'm facing an issue with Magisk root on my Rockchip Android 14 arm64 device. When patching the boot.img with Magisk v28, the patched image maintains the same size as the stock image, despite Magisk indicating a successful patch. Using a previous Magisk version also results in an increased image size, but Magisk doesn't recognize itself as installed, even after flashing the patched boot.img.

The Magisk app displays "Ramdisk - Yes, Magisk Installed - N/A", implying that Magisk isn't properly installed and root access isn't granted. Despite this, Magisk successfully rooted my Android 12 device on the same hardware.

Could this be an incompatibility issue with Magisk and Android 14 boot images on Rockchip devices? Does anyone have any troubleshooting steps or solutions for this problem? My shared link contains the problematic boot.img: [https://nch.pl/s/5EEbywKB82osBn3](https://nch.pl/s/5EEbywKB82osBn3)
