Display Animation Discrepancy with Force AOD While Charging on Pixel 6 Pro
in Post with 0 comment

On my Google Pixel 6 Pro running the September patch of HelluvaOS, I've noticed an unusual discrepancy in display animations when utilizing the 'Force AOD While Charging' toggle within PixelXpert.

When the 'Always show time and info' setting is enabled in device settings and the display is unlocked using the fingerprint animation or the power button, a smooth transition animation plays as the display emerges from the fingerprint icon or power button area. However, when 'Force AOD While Charging' is activated via PixelXpert, this familiar animation is absent.

Upon comparison, while the display activates when charging with 'Force AOD While Charging' enabled, it appears instantly without the customary smooth transition animation.

This behavior discrepancy might indicate a conflict between PixelXpert's Force AOD functionality and the device's native animations.

Ideally, 'Force AOD While Charging' should integrate seamlessly with the device's existing animation systems, preserving the user experience consistency.
