Magisk Installation Issues on Mi 9T Pro (Android 11): Bluetooth Conflicts, Size Errors, and Bootloops
in Post with 0 comment

I'm encountering multiple problems while trying to install Magisk on my Mi 9T Pro running Android 11. Here's a breakdown:

Initially, I wiped my device, lost Bluetooth functionality after rooting with Magisk, and discovered my device doesn't have a ramdisk. I attempted to install Magisk via recovery mode and patch the official recovery image. However, I keep encountering size errors when trying to write the patched recovery image to the device using adb.

Flashing via custom recovery (OrangeFox, as TWRP has bugs) seems to work, but when I open Magisk it prompts me to reinstall via the app in recovery mode. Doing so results in a bootloop. Surprisingly, even after uninstalling Magisk via custom recovery, it persists on the device.

The button combination for devices without a ramdisk to start with Magisk is still present but causes an error and redirects me to fastboot mode.

Additionally, I tried flashing the patched recovery image through custom recovery, but received a "Size of image is larger than target device" error.

While I haven't encountered Bluetooth issues recently, I suspect TWRP was the culprit in the initial Bluetooth loss.

If there's a way to provide logs for further analysis, I'm willing to trigger another bootlooped installation to help pinpoint the problem.
